There’s always hard elements
But before there’s mud & clay;
Likewise behind all such events
There’s play-within-the-play.

The cloud darkens all the sky
Behind it shines the sun,
Behind all events so amusing
The play-within-play does run.

The fun and comics all around
All surprises at night, at day
Behind them lie inner meaning
Mysterious play-within-play!

The evils thoughts do survive
Angels in disguise do stay,
Beneath the surface so colored
There’s play-within-the-play.
